The short answer: is Pixieset right for your church?
Pixieset is an online gallery service that lets your church photographer share baptism, event and staff photos in clean, downloadable galleries. It's best for churches that photograph events often and want something nicer than a shared folder. The catch: it's built for professional photographers, and the free plan's 3GB fills up after a few big events.
Who Pixieset is for
Great for
- Church photographers sharing baptism and event photos with families
- Communications teams handing staff headshots to the website team
- Churches that want password-protected galleries for kids' events
Skip it if
- Churches that only need a shared folder for staff. The cloud drive you already use costs nothing extra.
- Churches selling prints as a fundraiser on the free plan. Store sales there carry a 15% commission.
How churches use Pixieset
Baptism Sunday gallery
Upload every baptism photo into one gallery and send families the link that afternoon. They download their photos in the size they need.
VBS photos with a password
Put VBS photos behind a password so only families with the link and password can see the kids' pictures.
Staff headshots
Keep current headshots in one gallery so the website and social team always grab the right file.
