The short answer: is Epidemic Sound right for your church?
Epidemic Sound is a subscription library of 55,000 music tracks and 250,000 sound effects for church social video, podcasts and websites. It's best for teams posting short video every week. The catch: the Creator plan is personal-use only, the Business plan excludes livestreams, and its FAQ points non-profits toward a custom Enterprise plan.
Who Epidemic Sound is for
Great for
- Social media teams posting sermon clips to Reels and Shorts every week
- Church podcasts that need intro music and sound effects
- Editors who want music inside Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve Studio
Skip it if
- Churches that want music under the Sunday livestream. Business excludes livestreams, so you'd need a higher tier.
- Churches that need one track for one video. A pay-per-track library costs less.
How churches use Epidemic Sound
Weekly sermon clips
Put a light music bed under 60-second sermon clips for Reels and Shorts. Safelist your channels so the posts don't pick up copyright claims.
Church podcast intro
Pick a track and a couple of sound effects for your podcast open and close. Podcasts are covered on every plan.
Membership class ad
Boost a short promo for your next membership class. Online ads need Pro, Business or higher, not Creator.

Epidemic Sound FAQ
Is Epidemic Sound free for churches?
No. There's no free plan, but every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. Epidemic doesn't publish a church discount.
Can we use Epidemic Sound in our church livestream?
Not on Creator or Business. The Creator license excludes live settings and the Business plan excludes livestreams. Streaming and live events are listed from Business Plus up.
Which Epidemic Sound plan should a church choose?
Creator is for personal channels, so it doesn't fit a church-owned channel. Epidemic's pricing FAQ groups non-profits with public entities and points them to Enterprise, so ask before you subscribe.
What happens to our videos if we cancel Epidemic Sound?
Anything you published during your trial or plan stays protected. You can't use the music in new videos after you cancel.
