The short answer: is Mixkit right for your church?

Mixkit is Envato's free library of stock video, music, sound effects and templates for Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve. It's best for church video volunteers who need b-roll and a music bed today. The catch: some clips are for personal projects only, so check each clip's license first.

Is it right for you?

Who Mixkit is for

Great for

  • Video volunteers who need b-roll and a music bed before Sunday
  • Editors who want a free title or lower-third template to start from
  • Churches making promo videos with no stock budget

Skip it if

  • Churches that need worship backgrounds or countdowns. A motion background service is built for that.
  • Teams that need a large, ongoing library. A paid subscription like Envato Elements goes much deeper.

How churches use Mixkit

  1. Promo video soundtrack

Pick a free music track for the VBS or camp promo so it can go on YouTube and social without a music license.

  2. Sermon series opener

Start from a free Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve title template and drop in your series name.

  3. Kids church sound effects

Add free sound effects to a kids church video or skit playback.
