The short answer: is Church Online Platform right for your church?
Church Online Platform is a free tool from Life.Church that turns your livestream into a hosted online service, with live chat, private prayer, giving links and response moments. It's best for churches that want online guests welcomed by real people. The catch: it doesn't stream video itself, so you still need YouTube, Facebook or a paid provider.
Who Church Online Platform is for
Great for
- Churches that want online attenders greeted and prayed for, not just watching
- Teams with volunteers ready to host chat on Sunday
- Churches reaching people who speak other languages
Skip it if
- Churches looking for a streaming service. Pair this with a provider, or use one with its own web player.
- Churches with nobody to host chat. A stream embedded on your website is simpler.
How churches use Church Online Platform
Online hosts on Sunday
Train two volunteers to greet people in chat, answer questions and take private prayer requests during the service.
Response moments
Schedule a giving link, a next-steps form or a salvation response to appear at the right point in the sermon.
Simulated live services
Replay a recorded service at extra times for other time zones, with moments timed to the video and hosts still in chat.
