The short answer: is StockSnap.io right for your church?
StockSnap.io is a free photo site where every image is released under CC0, so you can edit and use it without credit. It's best for churches that want a quick extra source for backgrounds and social posts. The catch: the church-specific selection is thin, and sponsored Shutterstock images sit above the free results.
Who StockSnap.io is for
Great for
- Volunteers who've used up the obvious shots on the bigger free sites
- Churches that want the simplest possible license: CC0, no credit
- Designers hunting for texture and landscape backgrounds
Skip it if
- Churches that need worship, prayer or small group photos. A faith-focused stock library has far more.
- Teams that need video or music. Use a free stock video site instead.
How churches use StockSnap.io
Lyric slide backgrounds
Pick a texture, sky or landscape photo for worship lyric slides. CC0 means you can blur, crop and darken it freely.
Building and architecture shots
A search for "church" turns up mostly buildings and steeples, useful for a history post or a facilities update.
Blog and newsletter headers
Grab a header image for the pastor's blog or the weekly email without tracking credit lines.

Found the photo. Need the whole series?
A free photo is where most series graphics start, not where they finish. Remix sermon series packs come with title slides, notes and social graphics designed to match, with lower thirds in most, so Sunday's set is ready without starting from a blank canvas.
